Back Care Yoga Class (Thurs 7.30pm)
If have tried nearly everything, but are still living with neck or back pain, then you are not alone. Neck and lower back pain is one of the most common types of pain.
Discovering how to reduce and free yourself from pain can help to bring more joy back into your life, doing more of what you love, and live life to the full*.
This is a safe self-care class is ideal to de-stress at the end of a hectic day or week, and effectively manage neck & back pain.
The class is led by experienced Yoga Teacher & Back Care Instructor, Nazama Tague. Nazama has nearly 10 years of teaching yoga, and 6 years experience of helping people finding freedom from back pain.
What is Back Care Yoga?
Both an active and slower-paced class, the back care yoga class uses gentle, safe, yet effective exercise that offer a proven solution to prevent and treat ongoing back pain or episodes of back issues. The class is also rejuvenating, mindful, calming and relaxing.
You’ll start by moving stuck energy – shaking-off stress, tiredness and tension. You will be gently guided through easy movement that work with your back, focus on breathing and relaxation techniques.
It’s simple, easy-to-do exercises that stretch and strengthen the muscles along your spine, release tension and strengthen your core. The class is evidence-based and has been tried and tested in the NHS.
Classes complete with a deep-relaxation.
