Our Teachers

All our teachers have studied a minimum of 200-hour teacher training course that is recognised by Yoga Alliance UK - a professional body ensuring high standards of teaching and training.  


Nazama has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and used yoga to help her manage her ill health, plus stress & anxiety from having a demanding job.

Despite being fairly inflexible in the early days, she fell in love with yoga and after some encouragement from her teacher, she began her own journey as a teacher.

She now specialises in yoga for back pain & stress management and children & teens yoga. She is currently studying a 2.5 year meditation teacher training course.

Nazama has also had a strong spiritual and ayurvedic influence from her grandparents, which guides her understanding of inner balance, well-being, emotional and mental health.  


Hilary has been practicing yoga for over 25 years, as well as practicing meditation, a knowledgeable massage therapist and a Healthy Back Care Instructor.  She has a wealth of experience of the human body and the ability to move and heal yourself through movement, meditation, massage & aromatherapy.  

Currently she is studying yoga and ayurveda.  

Other Teachers

From time to time we have other teachers covering classes.  We require all our teachers to have the minimum requirement of a 200-hour recognised by Yoga Alliance.  Occasionally, we use student teachers, who have passed their interim assessments and are typically halfway through their training.
