Mindful Yoga is a combination of slow and free-flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing and creating a calming state of mind. Ideal to de-stress and boost your mood and mental wellbeing.
What is Involved?
It offers the best of both yoga and mindfulness. The session gets you moving physically to initially let go of any stress and tension, gradually weaving in mindfulness and a sense of meditative calm.
Both an active and slower-paced session, you’ll physically get moving shaking-off excess stress, tiredness and tension. Eventually the pace changes, becoming more calm, mindful, breathing more deeply, exploring traditional techniques and taking your awareness to the present moment.
Classes complete with either a nourishing deep-relaxation or a calming short meditation.
All levels are welcomed.
What are the Benefits?
Connecting both physical and mental health, you’ll explore alternative ways of experiencing mindfulness. You’ll see the mind and body as one functional unit, rather than looking at them as separate entities. This may feel more accessible compared to the seated mindfulness sessions.
