Help your team build a toolkit for life with a comprehensive introduction to mindfulness. Exploring a range of exercises in light-hearted and compassionate way, your team will walk away with a greater grounding of mindfulness, and how it can benefit them in both work and personal life.
Over time, mindfulness can lead to an increase of happiness levels, ability to focus, greater emotional balance and reduce stress and anxiety levels
What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the ability to be present, resting here and now in the moment, fully engaged. It’s about adopting a curious mind-set, were you’re observing, being non-judgemental and living in the moment.
It is not about switching off your thoughts or feelings. You simply and kindly observe them, in a non-critical way and eventually you may start to better understand them as well.
Mindfulness is not something that just happens, it’s a skill that anyone can learn.
What is Involved?
Our minds are powerful computers that we can learn to harness with a combination of understanding and practice. Participants will be gently guided through simple yet grounding techniques that bring you out of your head and into the moment.
This can be as easy as a settling 1-minute body scan either seated or standing, a light 3-minutes breath awareness or a short calming meditation. Building your own toolkit for life.
Participants will also gain an understanding of how the human brain is designed to encounter stress. This can help greatly with learning how to respond, rather than reacting. Ultimately, this is a more fulfilling way in being when dealing with any situation, helping with managing stress and develop interpersonal skills that aid good working relationships.
Participants will take their own mindfulness journey, walking away with greater knowledge and self-management tools that they apply instantly. A toolkit for life.
